ski trip

Once again, the Oakesdale Activity Club (OAC) set out in the cold early morning to shred the beautiful white slopes of Silver Mountain in Kellogg, Idaho. For many students, this was a first-time experience.

From riding in a gondola to hanging out in the lodge or going down their first bunny trail, students in grades 6-12 had a great time hanging out on the mountain. For some, it was a time for more experienced skiers to teach new skiers how to get down the mountain; for others, it was a time to forge new friendships with peers that they had not had a chance to visit before.

We would like to thank the leaders of the Oakesdale Youth Sports Program (OYS), Lacie Wagner, Keith Cooper, Carl Crider, Cap Perry, Renee Crider, Ben Crossett, and Jessica Jensema, for their sponsorship, as well as Mrs. Renstrom and Mrs. Hooper for joining us that day.

Finally, back by popular demand, the next OAC event will be the annual spring camping trip that will be held sometime this May.ski tripski tripski trip
